Your home data should stay yours.

HearthGuide is in beta. This plain-language summary explains what the current product stores and why.

What we receive

When you sign in with ChatGPT, we receive the platform-provided user ID, email, and display name needed to create your account. When you use the workspace, you may provide property details, care tasks, records, household routines, and documents.

How we store it

Structured workspace data is stored in a private D1 database. Uploaded documents are stored privately in R2 and are limited to the account that uploaded them. Requests are authorized against the signed-in platform user, so one user cannot access another user’s workspace.

What we measure

We record landing views, calls to action, shares, signups, onboarding starts, and activations. To avoid counting the same browser repeatedly, HearthGuide creates a random first-party visitor identifier and stores it in that browser’s local storage. We may also store an allowlisted source, campaign label, URL-assigned experiment variant (exp=a or exp=b), and only the hostname of a referring site—not its full URL. We do not use third-party advertising pixels and do not collect IP addresses, ad IDs, cookies, or browser fingerprints for this funnel.

Your choices

We do not sell personal data. You can clear the anonymous visitor identifier by clearing HearthGuide’s browser storage. You can choose what property information or documents to add and what to include in any report. To request correction or deletion, use the product’s available account channel; a dedicated support contact will be added before broader availability.

Beta changes

HearthGuide may change during beta. We will update this page when the data practices change materially. This page does not promise a particular retention period or regulatory compliance.
